The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions with Bishopbriggs Pet & Aquatic Centre. Placing an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

The terms and conditions shown below do not affect your statutory rights. 

 Ordering Goods

On the Website, we sell products for purchase only by people aged 18 or over. People aged under 18 may use the Website only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is required to accept these Terms and Conditions and place any orders for the person aged below 18. You hereby warrant that, at the date you accept these Terms and Conditions, you are aged 18 or over.

We always try to make sure that the information given on our site is as up to date as possible but we cannot guarantee that this will always be the case. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites.

when you submit an order to us on the Website, you will receive an email from us acknowledging your order. You should check this email for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. Please note that the Email does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms the goods have been dispatched to you (the "Dispatch Confirmation"). The contract between us ("Contract") will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery to you provided payment has been made in full. The Contract will relate only to those products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.

Availability & Delivery of Goods

Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within 30 days of the date of the Dispatch Confirmation.

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery will normally be made within 3-5 working days from clearance of payment. We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and we would ask you to allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. Although we hope you will not feel it necessary, you always have the right to cancel if you cannot wait for delivery.

Risk & Title of Goods

 The goods will be at your risk from the time of delivery.Once we have delivered the goods to your door you are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the goods, including delivery charges.

 Prices & Payment

The total price payable for the goods and delivery will be as shown at the time when you place your order. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

Whilst it is our intention to keep the Website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.

Payment Methods Accepted

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Switch. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received.You can pay through our website or alternatively call us at our shop to pay over the telephone.

Returns & Refunds  Policy


If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be withdrawn.

If the product returned is not in fully resalable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item

Where the goods are not defective, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of cancellation. In this case, we will refund the price of the product in full, but not the original delivery charge or the costs you incur in returning the item to us.

If you claim that the goods are defective, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund by either post, telephone or email within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you that you were entitled to a refund for the defective goods. Goods returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.

We will endeavour to verify the accuracy of any product or pricing information which we place on the Website, but we make no warranties or guarantees (whether express or implied) in relation to the accuracy of such information. You must bear the risk associated with the use of the Internet.
